This Privacy Policy describes how Juan José Ruiz de Adana Moreno handles information in the PepChronos Android application, package com.peptidecontrol.app.
Data stored by the app
PepChronos lets users enter profile information, age, height, body measurements, laboratory results, protocol schedules, dose history, vial inventory, reminder preferences and injection locations. This information may be personal and health-related.
Local processing and collection
All app data is processed and stored in Android's private application storage on the user's device. PepChronos does not use a developer server, cloud account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or crash-reporting SDK. The developer does not collect or receive this app data.
Sharing
The app does not automatically share data with the developer or third parties. Users may voluntarily export a JSON backup through Android's system share sheet. The user chooses the receiving application or person, and that recipient's privacy practices then apply.
Permissions
- Notifications: used to show dose reminders configured by the user.
- Exact alarms: used only for user-configured reminders that must occur at a selected time. The app falls back to inexact reminders if access is not granted.
- Device restart: used to restore pending reminders after a restart or app update.
The app does not request Internet, location, contacts, camera, microphone, body sensor, SMS, calendar, broad storage or Health Connect access.
Security
Data is isolated in Android private app storage. Cleartext network traffic and Android cloud backup are disabled. Users should protect access to their device and carefully select recipients when exporting a backup.
Retention and deletion
Data remains on the device until the user edits or deletes individual records, clears the app's storage, or uninstalls the app. Uninstalling PepChronos deletes its private local data. The app does not create user accounts.
Children
PepChronos is intended for adults and is not designed for children under 18.
Medical notice
PepChronos is a personal tracking and reminder tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Users should always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Changes
This policy will be updated when the app's data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
